Welcome remarks from the Office of the Acting Principal: Mr. Molifi Israel Mabe
Dear College Staff Members,
Allow me to take this moment, on behalf of the College Council and Executive Management, to welcome you to the 2023 College Academic year.
We hope that the December 2022 holidays has reinvigorated and re-energized you for the New Year. I would like to:
- Take this moment to congratulate those who found love and got married, the ones who have become parents and those who completed their academic goals for 2022.
- Extend condolences to families who faced the unfortunate circumstances of losing their family members and friends. May God comfort you, and may this year bring you good health, healing and prosperity.
We received the sad news of the passing away of Mr. Cornelius Wellsy Pieterson, a staff member at Skills Academy during the holidays and wish to send condolences to the colleagues, friends and family of Mr. Pieterson.
Gert Sibande TVET College prides itself with the commitment to diligently serve our students, communities, stakeholders and staff members with excellence and integrity. Staff members must always work with the mind-set that we are an institution mandated to advance academic excellence to our students. We are all here to ensure that we provide quality training and skilling relevant to contribute to the social and economic growth of our Country.
We are all reminded to conduct ourselves with dignity and integrity, diligence and commitment as well as excellence in all we do. Our first month of the year is focused on student enrolments and academic result analysis. We encourage all staff members to ensure that students on site are effectively and efficiently assisted with the enrolment and registration process. We are also focused on 2022 Audit preparations and staff members are encouraged to provide assistance in all ways necessary.
